Hi, I'm Amanda! I've celebrated my 29th birthday 4 times already, the 5th is on its way. Sometimes I will break down and admit I'm 32, but that's rare.
I graduated college with a degree in engineering and a minor in Japanese...yeah, haven't used that yet. I was in a 5-year program to get a master's degree too, but I couldn't handle any more school by that point. Instead, I went out into Corporate America and realized quickly that I hated it. I've worked on a freelance basis since late 2003, focusing mostly on technical writing and Internet marketing.
I've been a wife since early 2002, God help my husband. We've been on quite the roller coaster of transfers, and now it's continuing! After 5 domestic transfers, we are getting ready for our first international transfer. We are moving to XX for a position at the US Embassy there, with a scheduled arrival of Late Summer 2013.
